Do you have children or pets who cannot safely use your pool? We can add or repurpose a shallow tanning ledge for them to splash and play on.
Do you have steps that are difficult for an older or disabled loved one to use? We can modify them to their specific needs.
Maybe one of your friends or loved ones is Deaf or hard of hearing? We can install lights you can flash when you need to get their attention.
Are you interested in the addition of a water feature, fire feature, or spa? We can make these additions and more!
And lastly, are you interested in upgrading your landscaping or adding landscaping closer to the water in the form of built-in planters? We can do that too!
There are 4 main types of fire features.
Firstly, fire bowls can be placed almost anywhere around your pool’s perimeter. Many choose to elevate their fire bowls on pillars or ledges for a grand and commanding appearance. This is particularly powerful when placed near overflow edges of perimeter overflow pools or waterfalls.
Secondly, fire boxes are often placed on the raised ledges along the perimeter of your pool. These can rest on top of the ledge in a glass box, or the flames can dance from a recessed pocket within the ledge.
Do you like the recessed pocket idea used in some fire box designs? Similar fire boxes can be placed with walls overlooking your pool. With a look similar to a fireplace, this design is called a wall of fire.
And lastly, you can combine your fire feature of choice with a water feature. Consider combining a geometric fire bowl with a waterfall or fountain. Or frame your elevated waterfall with slightly more elevated fire bowls. Or even combine the fire box on your perimeter wall with a waterfall.
Outside of your endless possibilities when combining fire and water features, we offer several water features across 3 main categories: waterfalls, fountains, and ponds.
When added to fire features, waterfalls can offer a unique and powerful look. However, they can also stand out when featured solo.
Often found at the overflow edge of perimeter overflow pools and spas or cascading through poolside rock formations, waterfalls can add a majestic accent to any pool. Some even form water walls. Often, these provide access to a recessed cove-like area of a pool. Also, some waterfalls are placed outside of the pool entirely.
Feature waterfalls anywhere you can imagine! Set 3 or more small waterfalls asymmetrically in a wall in your garden. Frame part of your landscaping with a riverbed, pond, or even koi pond like stream accented by a waterfall at its starting point. Add a water wall behind a fire box in your deck seating area for a unique fireplace like ambiance.
You can choose to frame your waterfall with fountains. Fountains are a fun element to add to the perimeter walls of your pool. You can even program a timed light and water show to entertain your children or guests!
Like waterfalls, fountains are not limited to your pool area. Add fountains anywhere in your landscaped area. Add a bubbling birdbath or accent your stairs with a fountain flowing or jumping down the stairs alongside you.
You can even consider adding water features like spouting fountains and water walls nearby your pool to make a splash area for young children to play in!
We recommend using fountains to accent ponds both in-ground and above!
Ponds can be as small as a large bowl with a small fountain, or they can be large enough to swim in.
The 2 most common types of ponds we install are mirror ponds and fish ponds. Fish ponds commonly feature koi or goldfish. These ponds can be in-ground or above-ground, and we highly recommend accenting them with small fountains.
For fish ponds, we highly recommend considering the addition of spouting fountains, Japanese fountains, or cascading fountains.
There are 3 main ways to make spas unique – placement, shape, and added water features.
Placement of your spa in reference to your pool can completely change your pool’s silhouette and style. Accent a modern pool with a square spa. Add water features like an infinity edge or waterfall-like overflow edge to enhance the flowing, clean lines of your pool’s modern style. Or, accent your freeform oasis with a round or custom geometric pool to complement the existing gentle curves instead.
Once placement and shape are determined, you can choose to add extra water features. Relaxing massage jets, spouting fountains, and the addition of infinity edges, waterfalls, water walls, and cascading fountains are common choices.
There are many ways you can upgrade your backyard through a combination of landscaping and water features. These remodels can be made both poolside and away from your pool’s edge.
Accent the curves of your freeform oasis by adding perfectly-placed planters or waterfalls cascading through rock formations. Add some greenery, fountains, fire bowls, or other accents to the ledges and walls surrounding your swimming pool. Or, add these features anywhere in your garden or other landscaped outdoor area.
